Frequently Asked Questions
Everyday Questions
Q: What should I wear to clinics/lessons/leagues?
What ever you’re comfortable in! We generally suggest a t shirt, spandex or shorts, kneepads (optional) and sport friendly athletic shoes. If it’s been awhile since you’ve played (or have never played before) we also suggest a long sleeve so your forearms don’t get sore after passing!
Q: Where are you located?
We practice out of 3 locations:
Round Rock Sports Center: 2400 Chisholm Trail Rd, Round Rock, TX, 78681
ASC Cedar Park: 1420 Toro Grande Blvd, Cedar Park, TX, 78613
Q: How long are lessons, clinics and leagues?
Private and group lessons are 60 minutes each. Both clinics and leagues are 90 minutes each
Q: I’m a parent. Can I watch the private lessons, clinics and leagues?
Of course! In each location, there is a ton of space for parents to watch us play. Our only request is you stay in the observation area; last thing we want is you getting hit with a volleyball!

Clinics vs. Leagues
Q: What is the difference between clinics and leagues?
NKV clinics are 90 minute training sessions for 12-14 athletes that occur every week. The clinics go through all the skills of the game for all players of their level (beginners, intermediate and advanced) to give our athletes the opportunity to become more well-rounded players. These clinics are at the Round Rock Sports Center.
The NKV League is a 5 week long program to train 12 athletes to compete in 6 vs 6 game-like drills. We pick a detailed focus, spend the first 30 minutes practicing the skill and then competing in full games. Here, our athletes will be playing in fixed positions the entire program (with exceptions). Each session of the league is 90 minutes.
Q: What if I cannot attend a clinic or league sessions?
We understand that everyone has summer plans. For the clinic, you can attend as many or as few sessions as you can; we just ask for proper notice. We offer a drop in daily rate of $55 each session.
For the league, we pride ourselves on giving athletes the chance to compete in a real, game-like 6 vs 6 scenario. That being said, we would prefer if athletes who register for the league are able to attend all the sessions. If an athlete cannot attend a day, we would ask that you look for a replacement for the day to keep our numbers even.
Membership Info
Q: What is a NKV Membership?
A NKV membership gives you the ability to purchase a month’s worth of lessons (or participate in the clinic) at a discounted rate for a one time monthly fee. It also gives you the higher ability to choose what time works best for you with preference over non-members. Finally, it gives you more discounts for other NKV events, such as leagues, clinics and other VIP promotions.
For lessons, our memberships can be 1x-3x per week with 1-4 athletes. For our clinics, membership gives you a guaranteed 4 sessions at a discounted rate.
Q: What if I need to reschedule a private lesson?
For our members, you must give us at least 24 hours notice that you want to reschedule a lesson. If you give us less than 24 hours, you will lose that lesson for the week (extreme circumstances will be considered).
Q: What is your membership cancellation policy?
If you would like to cancel your NKV Membership, you must give us 30 days notice beforehand. This gives us enough time to take care of any makeups, as well as the chance to manage our expect client list for the remainder of the month.
